What Access is

Access gives your company a search over the documents ransomware groups published on their sites and forums. You subscribe with your work email, and the same search is open three ways: the app at app.owlyscan.com, your AI, and the API.

Your records and everything else

A record is yours when it concerns your company: your domain, an address on it, or one of your company names. Your records are shown as they are. In your records, passwords and hashes are masked: only their length and at most their first two characters show.

• Your records: shown as they are.
• Likely yours: a record that probably concerns you, without certainty, or that a search for a brand linked to your company finds. Company, brand and domain names show; people’s names, contact details, account and ID numbers, passwords and hashes stay hidden. It may concern another company.
• Everything else: names always hidden. When your search holds your own name, your domain or a brand linked to your company, its dates, amounts and towns stay. Otherwise only its field names and your search words show, and the result reads “Values hidden”.
• A person: a query that looks like a person’s name, an email address, a phone number or a handle gets counts only, on every plan.

Excerpts, not documents

Results are excerpts. You read the passage around your words, not the whole document. Documents that are not yours show no web address and no file name.
